Villa Tropica - Outside dinning area
Villa Tropica Side Walk

Better than imagined!

We just stayed at the Villa Tropica for 1 week and it was one of our top favorite trips.

We have traveled a lot for the last 25 years to many locations and stayed in a variety of places (condos, hotels, villas, homes, all inclusive resorts, etc.).

This was by far one of the best homes that we have rented. The pictures are beautiful, but don’t provide the full experience of the actual home and was even more beautiful in person.

The pool and the grounds were so lush with palm trees, bushes and flowers, and so well maintained that we felt like we were at a resort. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need. Dany and his team were wonderful to work with from the time of the booking through our entire stay. We stayed here with 2 other couples and everyone loved it.

We would highly recommend this place and would definitely plan to stay here again when we visit the islands in the future. This was our first time to Turks and Caicos and the Pelican and Grace Bay beaches are what you see in magazines. The sand is so soft and the water is a beautiful turquoise…not like any other places that I have seen.

Tony (property manager) was so friendly and very responsive whenever we had to contact him. Thank you, Dany, Lucie and Tony for a wonderful experience!

Paradise Found

Thank You Dany and Lucy for the use of your wonderful home. I travel a lot to Turks and Caicos at least once a year for the past 9 years.

Traveling these days is so difficult with all the Covid regulations however Dany couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding that people still want to get away but they are unsure which property owners they can trust, look no more this is the home to stay and Dany is the right homeowner to deal with.

This home was better than described the grounds of the property are gorgeous and so peaceful the swimming pool is incredible, we were a five minute walk to Pelican Beach which was secluded and the water was an incredible shade of turquoise.

We lost power one night for a few hours which is common on the Islands one phone call to Tony the property caretaker and a generator was on within 10 minutes. Please if you want to have a carefree incredible vacation Stay at Villa Tropica.

Thanks again Dany!!

Great Villa close to beach

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Tropica. Great location with easy access to the beach and quick drive into town.

We enjoyed the privacy of the back yard around the pool and rode bikes everyday.

Property manager, Anthony, was exceptional. We booked a half day boat excursion with him and it was so much fun. He took great care of us!!

Villa Tropica…Your Personal Resort

We just returned from our week in Turks and Caicos and couldn’t be happier with Villa Tropica. Our family of five (kids age 17, 14, 10) thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

Conveniently located around the corner from a beach and within a short drive from others, the property allowed us to be close to the action but have a quiet place to relax.

The villa was well equipped with beach supplies, towels, beach umbrellas, bicycles, and a beach wagon. Robert was most helpful at check-in and advised us on the local area as it was our first time on the island.

His advice to run the bedroom A/C units rather than the central air was also helpful and cost effective. The only bad part of our stay was that it was too short! Thanks for a great week!

Perfect spot for 8 adults and 4 small children

This was my 4th visit to Turks & Caicos, but first time staying at Villa Tropica, and we were extremely happy with the villa. We stayed for 1 week.

We were 8 adults (3 grandparents, two young couples with children, one single in her twenties) and 4 young children (aged 7, 4, 2, and 1) — and the villa managed to keep all of us happy.

The villa is as-advertised — it’s spacious, conveniently located, and in a very safe area. Even small details felt upscale (e.g., the portable beach chairs are Tommy Bahama — an expensive brand!).

The property manager, Robert, was very helpful. The night we checked in, he asked if we’d like him to secure the pool to better protect our young ones (as designed, it’s partially gated, but has a couple of gaps). He said he would come by the next morning with supplies to install a temporary gate — and true to his word, he arrived by 10 the next morning to install the gate, which worked perfectly to keep the little ones away from the pool.

We spent most days either walking or driving to the nearby beaches, or to the main Grace Bay hub (5 min drive) for dining or shopping.

Leeward offers the perfect mix of being away from the crowds, but still conveniently located.

The charges for A/C and the water allowance turned out to largely be non-issues. We all ran the A/C in the bedrooms at night, which resulted in a very very modest charge for the week. We did not run the central A/C in the common areas, as Robert advised this could run up costs — the common area was usually comfy, but occasionally got a little warm — this was easily solved by hanging out in the lush gardens or outdoor dining area, which was always pleasant.

The water allowance was more than generous. We did many loads of laundry and dishes, plus many baths and showers, and we used a little more than half of the 3,000 gallon allowance.

There’s lots more I could say, but it’s already been covered by other reviewers. We will stay here again, and you should too.
