Awesome house, Awesome experience

This is a beautiful residence, well laid out so it is easy to enjoy the house and outside with multiple people. We came for two 50th birthday party celebrations with six women and it worked out well for us.
The pool was fabulous to enjoy, including lots of floaty devices and lounge chairs and we made sure to take advantage of the hammock. Morning breakfasts under the pergola were perfect. We had one rainy day at the end of our week and chose to enjoy the movies and games offered.
The bikes were a plus to see some of the local area. The Pelican Beach and the ocean is so close (3 blocks) and many times we were almost the only people in sight. We enjoyed the morning sunrises, and evening ocean swims, along with the ability to collect lots of beautiful shells, including conch shells.
All six of us would highly recommend this place. Robert, the house manager was wonderful as well, making sure we had what we needed and helping us out when needed. His personality is a joy to be around. Can't say enough good things about this house - very clean, sheets are high quality and beds are very comfortable so sleeping was luxurious, kitchen is well stocked with equipment and spices which made cooking breakfasts and lunches easy, great seating for meals as well as for hanging out. Location is a little secluded, but the security area where you enter and exit along with the gate to the house make you feel safe. We can't wait to return.
Nothing that would stop me from highly recommending this place, but be aware that the house is outside of the 'tourist' area. This worked well for us because it provided the quiet and peace we were looking for, but you'd want to know that to make accommodations of either a car or know that you'll be paying for taxi's to come and go.
We chose the taxi route (Gray's Taxi is outstanding) so we spent lots of time enjoying the house and ocean nearby and only left for dinners and a few outings. We were forewarned about the no-see-ums and bugs, and ended up with bites, but the house provides spray to assist you with this issue. Small things to just be aware of but again, nothing that stops the enjoyment of this place, it's location and the island.

Where to start?! This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 5 couples! We could have gone with a cheaper house closer to the beach, but I have NO regrets about going with Villa Tropica. What I specifically LOVED about this house:
-All the rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean.
-AMAZING outdoor area with an equally amazing pool. When I wasn't floating in the nearby ocean, I spent my time floating in the pool (day and night!) Tons of toys/rafts/tubes available. Yes, there are bugs, but my trick was to spend as much time in the water as possible. And used Saywer's lotion bug dope..seemed to work the best. Oh, and we left behind oil for the tiki torches which seemed to also help with the bugs. -Near the beach. Yes, it's a short (5-10min) walk but there are bikes available and let's be real...walking to the beach was our only form of exercise on this trip so it was probably a good thing.
-THE BEACH! We ventured out one day to explore the island and couldn't wait to get back to our beach. The other (shallower) beaches might be better for families with kids, but we LOVED only having to walk out a few meters to be up to our chests.
-Well stocked pantry full of spices. We brought a bunch of our own food essentials since we knew they would expensive. We mostly drank local beer and rum and hit up duty-free on the way down.
-Fully equipped kitchen to meet all of our cooking needs
-Washer/Dryer available for salty and sweaty clothes (bring detergent!)
-Totally safe. The island seemed a bit seedy driving beyond the airport, but once we got to Leeward, it was a totally different feel. The house is equipped with a safe and an alarm system. We never once felt unsafe. Wait...except riding in a car on the wrong side of the road...that took some time to get used to!
-Wifi worked perfectly, with no issues of being slow
-Nearby stores, restaurants and touristy areas. We did, however, end up renting a car just because we were on vacation and feeling lazy. We probably could have done without it, but taxis would have cost just as much ($20 per person from the airport to leeward) and the walk to the grocery store would have been a BIT too far in 85 degree/95% humidity weather.
-Dany was great to work with. I was super nervous about sending a HUGE payment off to someone I had never met, but I called him and I can assure you that he's a real person :) Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this house and would be happy to give a referral!

Best VACATION EVER

Our stay at this villa could not have been better. The entire house is gorgeous and so well decorated. It feels like home. The pool is amazing and the location is great - right near a grocery store! Robert, the house manager welcomed us with cold beers and went over the details and best places to eat.
The beach is such a short walk and it's absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave. Every moment exceeded any expectation I had. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I frequent the Turks and Caicos islands and just love them. This year we decided to bring a few other couples with us to experience the same joy we do. We found Villa Tropica after searching online for some time and decided to stay there. I am glad we did.
From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the friendship we created during our stay, Villa Tropica did not disappoint. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and wonderfully decorated along with plenty of space in all rooms. Ample space around the pool is suitable for multiple guest, large eating area outside is great for morning breakfast and a hammock round out this beautifully landscaped property.
The manager was always very pleasant and addressed every request we had-even at a moments notice. We booked a couple of excursions through Caicos Adventures and enjoyed a fair discount as well-this was very nice. The villa was a true hit. When asked by others if we would recommend, our response has always been and always will be 'In a Heartbeat!'.
Now if I can only get them to hire me as the Pool Boy, I could be there all the time! Thank you for helping us create a memory of a lifetime. Thank you Robert, thank you Dany and thank you Villa Tropica!

My family of eight adults had a wonderful time at Villa Tropica. The house was beautifully appointed, very clean, and spacious. We found the kitchen was well equipped, and it enabled us to easily put together breakfast and lunch. The master suites are very comfortable and stylish. The other 3 bedrooms are an adequate size and on the opposite side of the house. We delighted in the outdoor spaces as well. The lush foliage and beautiful pool was a welcome retreat from the direct sun exposure on the beach. It was great to have pool floats, a hammock, plenty of seating outdoors and a gas grill. And we greatly appreciated not having to bring our own beach towels or beach chairs. Finally, the owners were very attentive to communication throughout the booking process and following our visit.
